Life Update | + Summer bucket list

It feels so great to be blogging again! I really missed it the last few months, but I wanted to wait for

my new layout to arrive before starting again. How do you guys like it? I also chose a new name, because I just could´t see the old one anymore. It still isn´t my favorite one yet, but I´ll figure it out.

The summer holidays started yesterday, and although it does´t feel like summer yet, I spend most of my time tanning in my hammock. The last few weeks have been dedicated to school and work and more school, so I will do nothing but take the 6 weeks off to treat myself. And as for almost every season, I write down a small bucket list with goals I want to achieve or things I just want to do for fun.. I mean, you know how a bucket list works. In August, I will go on a vacation to Denmark (second home to me since I was 3), which I am super excited about and I hope to be productive there concerning taking photos and writing. 

First thing on my bucket list is to have a barbecue with my best friends this summer. The holidays are only two days in and I already miss them so much. We´ve been trying to plan a barbecue for weeks and it´s the perfect thing to do on a summer night. 

Get fit! I just recently started playing volleyball on a team and it really motivates me to try not to be the worst one on the team :D I´m really looking forward to the beach as well, so I can go jogging and do my working out outside.

Next, I want to read more. This sounds like such a stereotype resolution, but books are better than netflix in summer. Even I have to admit that!

Final goal on the list is to take up writing a journal again. It helps so much to write the most important memories down every once in a while and I already see myself as a granny, handing my books down to my grand children...okay, that´s not the point.

Oh, wie ich das Bloggen doch vermisst habe! Aber ich wollte noch auf das neue Layout warten, damit mir auch wirklich alles gefällt, wenn ich wieder anfange zu schreiben. Wie findet ihr das Design? Und habt ihr noch gute Namensvorschläge für den Blog? Ich bin in der Hinsicht nämlich ziemlich unkreativ.

Wir haben hier in NRW seit gestern Sommerferien, obwohl es sich noch kein Stück nach Sommer anfühlt. Ich mache das beste daraus und entspanne mich nach wochenlangem Schulstress endlich wieder. Und wie jedes Jahr und zu fast jeder Jahreszeit habe ich eine kleine Bucket List geschrieben, mit Dingen, die ich unbedingt diesen Sommer noch machen will. Natürlich ist das nicht alles, aber selbst ein Planungsfreak wie ich sollte auch mal versuchen spontan zu sein :D

Als erstes möchte ich unbedingt eine Grillparty mit meinen besten Freunden schmeißen. Wir haben uns zwar erst seit ein paar Tagen nicht gesehen, aber ich vermisse sie schon so  sehr und hoffe, dass wir endlich mal dazu kommen, was wir uns schon seit Wochen vornehmen.

Ich will fit werden! Das eigentlich schon seit Ewigkeiten, aber da ich seit April in einem Volleyball-Team spiele habe ich endlich einen Ansporn gefunden nicht mehr die schlechteste zu sein. Außerdem freue ich mich schon so sehr auf den Strand, damit ich endlich draußen Laufen gehen und Sport machen kann. 

Als nächstes möchte ich mehr Lesen. Das klingt nach einem typischen Neujahrsvorsatz, aber selbst ich muss mal zugeben, dass Bücher im Sommer besser sind als Netflix!

Zu guter Letzt nehme ich mir wieder vor Tagebuch zu schreiben. Ich liebe es nach Monaten wieder auf alte Erlebnisse zurückzuschauen und vielleicht interessiert sich eines Tages jemand für meine Teenager-Tage... nicht.

The last thing, that I´m looking forward to this summer is the Lollapalooza festival in Berlin in September. Please let me know, If you will be there! I am already so excited , because I´ve never been to a festival before, but it will be amazing anyways!
